In 2002, ELMA expanded its international activities with the establishment of sister company Elro SRL in Romania. With this strategic step, ELMA responded to two important developments within the market.
On the one hand, there was a growing need among customers for cost-efficient, serial assembly of control cabinets. On the other hand, it became increasingly challenging in the Netherlands to find technical personnel for these activities.
With ELRO SRL, Elma combines flexibility, scalability, and craftsmanship. This allows us to deliver high-quality assembly under competitive conditions, without compromising on quality and reliability.
ELRO SRL is located in Constanta, the sister city of Rotterdam and the gateway to Eastern Europe. The location aligns well with ELMA’s expertise. ELRO has since grown into an organization with over 30 employees and is ISO 9001 certified.
