T600 - Steel grid resistors

Resistors with a steel grid consist of individual elements with an S-series steel grid. These elements are combined into resistor blocks (FE and FK series). Resistor blocks are, in turn, assembled into units with a steel grid, which are available in various protection degrees and mounting methods.

Properties

  • Very favorable price-performance ratio with high-end quality.
  • Selection of 30 different steel grid elements from 0.022 to 5.6 Ω.
  • High load capacity up to 122A per steel grid fixed resistor, can be increased by parallel connection.
  • Lower temperature dependence of resistance than cast iron resistors due to a lower temperature coefficient.
  • Overload resistant under short-term loads thanks to high heat capacity.
  • Very robust construction and therefore insensitive to vibrations.
  • Enclosures made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel.
  • Various protection degrees and mounting methods (all series except S and FE).

Options

  • Temperature switch for temperature monitoring.
  • Thermal overload relay for high operational reliability (serialized with FGFT series).
  • UL recognition for the US and Canadian markets (E212934) available on request for all marked series.
